Master Stuart Emery
Master Stuart Emery began his martial arts training in 1984 in the art of Taekwondo under Grand Master Lee, Young Il in Baltimore, MD. Master Emery was promoted to 1st dan in Taekwondo by Grand Master Lee in 1988.
In 1994 Master Emery began training in Hapkido under the American Hapkido Association. Master Emery was promoted to 1st dan in Hapkido in 1997. Master Emery began studying Jung Ki Hapkido in 1998. Master Emery is currently a 7th dan in Hapkido under the World Jung Ki Hapkido Association and 5th dan in Kuhapdo under the World Chung Suk Kuhapdo Association. Master Emery is a direct student of Grand Master Lim, Hyun Soo. Grand Master Lim is a 9th dan in Hapkido promoted by the founder of Hapkido, Choi, Yong Sool. Master Emery makes yearly trips to South Korea to study Hapkido and Kuhapdo under Grand Master Lim.
